Our client is looking for a leader to head up both their Corporate and Private banking teams in Reading. Ideally you will currently be a leader in the Corporate banking marketplace with extensive knowledge of Reading and the surrounding areas. Our client has one of the strongest balance sheets in the world and has ambitious plans to grow its UK business centre network from its current base in 2009.

Our client is expanding their successful business centre in Manchester and as such is looking for a Senior Relationship Director to operate at the upper end of their target market. That would be commercial clients that t/o £1-25m.

You will be responsible for the origination of new business and maintain an ever expanding portfolio in this dual role. You will have good general experience, across a number of sectors. Experience with corporate finance transactions up to £15m would be an advantage but not essential.

Essential Skills:

• Have a proven track record in new business development
• Be an experienced lender and handled deals of sizes £1m+ and be confident in operating in commercial/corporate banking markets
• An established network of business introducers will be essential for your success and experience of developing new areas and establishing a brand in new regions through networking will also be an integral part of the role
• Strong lending and customer relationship management skills will be essential.
